Francis Marion Lancaster, son of Elijah and Elizabeth Lancaster, was born at Dover, Tenn., April 30, 1859, and died December 9, 1930 at the age of 77 years. 7 months and 9 days.
On November 29, 1880, he was united in marriage to Becky Ann Rougemont and to this union five children were born. Two preceded their father in death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Haddam church by the Rev. L. E. Dixon and at the church and cemetery by the Haddam Masonic lodge. Interment was made in the Old Cuba cemetery.
