Thomas Jessup was born the 8th of 9th mo 1814. He married in 1832 at Duck Friends Meeting in Henry Co, IN, Rebecca Binford. After their marriage, they became charter members at Walnut Ridge Friends Meeting when it was set off in 1836. They later became charter members of Carthage Friends Meeting when it was set off from Walnut Ridge in 1866. Thomas served as an elder at Walnut Ridge meeting and as an overseer at Carthage. He died the 7th of 4th mo 1882.
