Thomas A. Custardo, 73, of Melrose Park, died Nov. 4 in Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park.

Mr. Custardo was the husband of Mary (nee Cruciotti); father of Marisa (Ken) Derus, Thomas (Dalia), Donald (Ann) and Dina (Dino) Sabatino; grandfather of Breanna, Marina, Phillip, Alivia and Gabriela; brother of Alfred, Jean (Nick) Iovino, Vic (Maryann), Art (Mary) and the late Pat (the late Caroline), Nick (Rose), Josephine “Pip” (Frank) Nardulli, Carmella Dugo and Philomena Guarino; and uncle of many.

Visitation was held Nov. 5 in the Ed Prignano Funeral Home, Melrose Park.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 6 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Melrose Park.

Entombment was in Christ the King Garden Mausoleum, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Memorials may be made to the Proviso’s Adult Day Health Center, 439 Bohland, Bellwood, IL 60104.
