Mrs. Mildred A. Yardley lived near Knights Landing on the Sutter side of the river. She was aged 65 years, 10 months and 5 days.
The funeral of Mrs. Yardley will take place at Knights Landing tomorrow at 2 o'clock.

Her Death Was Due to an Attack of Heart Disease
By the death of Mrs. Mildred Ann Yardley, which occurred at her home near Knights Landing on Monday, an old and respected resident of that vicinity has been removed. Although a resident of Sutter county, the deceased had always considered Knights Landing as her home. The immediate cause of death was heart disease.
About forty years ago Mrs. Yardley, then Mrs. Bailey, located near Knights Landing. Her husband died some years later and the deceased married Mr. Yardley. Five sons survive her, Robert, Lewis, and Fred Bailey and Charles and George Yardley. A daughter died several years ago in Honolulu.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church and until her late affliction came upon her she devoted much of her time to religious work. She possess a deeply sympathetic nature and was ever ready to assist those less fortunate than herself.
The funeral took place at Knights Landing this afternoon at 2 o'clock and the remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of friends and acquaintances.
