Matty M. "Mary" Downing is on this side.

This single stone has 6 names on it. The various plots were bought by J.H. Bross. The name on the bottom is BROSS, but some of the surnames are different. Stella M (1876-1878) and Baby (1896-1896) are together on one side. This side has an unusual Masonic symbol: The compass is broken, though the square and the G for Geometry is there. The name BROSS is on the base of this side. Gabriel D. Bross (1817-1886) is on another. On a 3rd side is Mary M. Downing (1848-1888). Note: the cemetery book lists her as Matty M (Mary). And on the last side are Jesse W. Caldwell (1892-1896) & Freddie H. (1893-1896). According to the cemetery records the surname of Freddie H. is Caldwell. One stone. Plot: Block 36, Lot 3, graves 1,3,5,6,8,9 GPS ~N41.55133 W96.12003 ~elev. 1087'
