Beatrice Allison Keys," Pat", 96, died Monday, July 22, 2013.

Originally from Greenville , SC , Mrs. Keys moved to Westminster Towers in Rock Hill , SC in 2000 to be near her family.

She was the daughter of the late William T. Allison and Ada Major Allison and was the widow of M. Burris Keys. Mrs. Keys was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lucia A. Biggerstaff and Margaret A. Thomasson, and a brother William Allison.

Mrs. Keys earned an Associate of Business degree in 1938 from Limestone College and worked for the South Carolina federal court system until retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling all over the world and playing golf. Mrs. Keys was also an avid bridge player. She was an active member of DAR and of Third Presbyterian Church in Greenville and of Oakland Presbyterian in Rock Hill . She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews: Frances A. Walker of Greenville , Bill Allison of Startex, Everette Biggerstaff of Atlanta , T. Carter Thomasson of Salem , Tom Thomasson of Fort Mill , and Margaret T. Yoder of Van Wyck. Mrs. Keys also has many great nieces and nephews. Many of them thought of her as another grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the chapel of Oakland Presbyterian Church, Rock Hill , SC. Interment will be held in Springwood Cemetery, Greenville, SC at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00pm Wednesday evening at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
