As far as I can determine, Michael was born in Eichberg, the German Protestant village near the Polish village of Debogora, and he died there. His father could have either been Michael or Samuel Anklam. In 1851 he married Johanna Julianne Pomrenke, and they had 4 or 5 children, I've not been able to confirm a daughter Emma. After Michael died in Prussia, his wife Julia and the children moved to Wisconsin and settled in around Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. I created a fictitious cemetery because I only have a clue as to where he might have been buried.
