HYDE PARK — Alice Louise Marona Remond, 87, a lifelong area resident, died Oct. 30, 1997 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Remond was a member of the 39ers Club at Hyde Park United Methodist Church. She attended St. Peter's Church in Hyde Park. She was born May 18, 1910 in Millbrook. On June 27, 1949, in North Canaan, Conn., she married Charles H. Remond. He died Nov. 10, 1996. Mrs. Remond is survived by a son, Joseph J. Milone of Poughkeepsie; two brothers, John and Edward Marona of Millbrook; a sister, Joanne Wuest of Pennsylvania; a stepson, Wayne A. Remond of Hyde Park; a stepdaughter, Sheila D. Prince of Hyde Park; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Remond was predeceased by two sisters, Marion Faulkner and Margaret Martin. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
