She was born in Lima, Ohio, and with her parents came to Kansas, settling eight miles southeast of Emporia. She was married, in 1891, to James Slaght, and two children were born, one died as an infant. Mr. Slack died. She was then married to W. J. Davis, and to them was born a son, that is now 17 months.
She was the daughter of Mrs. Anna Edgecomb, and leaves her mother two children, Georgia Bell, age 4 and Walter, age 2.
