Jenita Jean Daniels age 45, of Hinkle, Kentucky was born on April 22, 1968, in Barbourville. She was a daughter of Clem Franklin "Sonny" Daniels and Stella Jane Mills Daniels. Jenita died at her home Monday, July 22, 2013. She was a member of the Hughes Hill Holiness Church and was a former employee of the Pilot Station in Corbin. Jenita united in marriage to Rick Nelson and to this union two daughters were born. Along with her husband, Rick, she was preceded in by her sister, Tammy Daniels Wilburn.
Jenita is survived by her daughters; Jobeth Collins and husband, Matthew of Callebs Creek; Alison Gray and husband, Adam of the Swan Pond Community; her grandchildren; Tamia, Jacob, Brooklyn and Sonny Lee; her beloved parents; Clem Franklin "Sonny" Daniels and Stella Jane Daniels of Hinkle; her brother; Clem Daniels and wife, Kathy of Bimble and her sister; Patricia Evans of Hinkle.
Funeral Services for Jenita Jean Daniels will be conducted Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tip Smith and Rev. David Mounce officiating. Burial will follow in the Shelton Cemetery at Paynes Branch in Knox County, with family members and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received at the Hopper Funeral Home Wednesday after 6:00 pm and Thursday after 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm
