GARLINGHOUSE

Mr. and Mrs, Witt King, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Stephenson, Mrs. Ella Lyon and Mrs. Henry Lanning attended the funeral of John King, at Webster Crossing, which was held from his late home, with interment at Springwater Valley. He had been ill for a long time. He leaves a wife and four children and several grandchildren to mourn his loss. He was a veteran, having gone out when he was a young boy. The flag he loved so well was draped on his casket, and there were many beautiful flowers. He was formerly of this place, and will be remembered by m any here. The old Veterans are fast passing away.
