Barbara, or "Bobbi," was the daughter of Frank and Janie Mitchell. She was first married to Robert Holcombe. She had one son Jackie Dean, and two sisters Annie Sue Sewell and Mary "Tootsie" Tipton. She had two brothers, Frank "Buck" and Douglas Mitchell. She had two grandchildren, Dana and Michael Holcombe, whom she adored. She was an avid gardner and everything she touched grew well. She was a wonderful seamstress and often made blankets for the children's shelters. She loved cats and dogs, especially cats, as all the strays found there way to her house. She was my Dad's sister and I loved her very much. She had a heart attack on September 10, 2001 and was just too tired and weak to fight her way back to us. She gave it a good fight for two days. In the end, she had her husband, son, grandchildren, and me and my sisters holding her hands. She was loved and adored by everyone. The top picture was taken on her birthday, I had taken her all over the place while my sisters and her husband got the "surprise" ready..As you can see she was surprised, she was so much fun, she would call and say pack your bags, we're heading for the mountains..We never knew what she had planned next..I miss you terribly Bobbi..
