Viola M. Fisbeck of Albany, Oregon passed away Thursday, January 7, 1999 at Timberview Care Center in Albany, Oregon, following a stroke. She was 83.
Viola was born in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska, one of five children of Otto and Anna [Dunker] Kullman. She grew up in Amherst.
She married Lester H. Fisbeck December 7, 1932, and they had seven children. They moved to Corvallis in 1956 and lived in Mill City before moving to Albany.
They moved to Hamilton, Montana where her husband died in 1983. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Corvallis, Oregon before returning to Albany, Oregon in 1997.
Viola belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Nadean Polanka of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Barbara Schmidt of Albany, Oregon; sons Richard of Albany, Oregon, Merl and Don of Salem, Oregon, Ron of Sparks, Nevada, and Lester Jr. of Fountain Hills, Arizona; sister Dora Weis of Tigard, Oregon; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
No public services are planned. Interment is at Willamette Memorial Park.
