Ann "Nancy" Meriwether Marks Gwathmey was one of the children born to Peter Marks and his wife Joanna Sydnor.

Nancy was united in marriage on June 16, 1803 in Louisville, Kentucky to Temple Gwathmey. Nancy and Temple were blessed with the birth of at least seven children during their short 16 year marriage:

Temple passed away 35 years later.
