CARSON – On the 13th instant, FANNIE, daughter of Samuel and Fannie Carson, of small pox.

A light is from our household gone,
A voice we love is _______ (stilled?)
A place is _______ at our hearth
Which never can be filled.

Farewell mother, sisters, brothers dear,
From ______ sister Christ doth call;
Mourn not for me, it is vain,
To call me to your sight again.

Restrain your tears, _____ shed no more
Because your child has gone before;
In love she lived, in peace she died,
Her life was asked but she was denied.

O Lord, the thought, our sister's dead,
In silence rests her ________ head.
Her soul renewed by early grace,
In heaven has _____ its native place.
