Vernon C. Crissman, 60 of Wickenburg, died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix on May 16. He was born Feb. 17, 1925 in Madison Township, Pa. and had been a resident of Wickenburg for 24 years.
Crissman served on the USS Fullam during World War II. He is a member of Kellis Draper Post No. 12 of the American Legion in Wickenburg and the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joy, of Wickenburg; two sons Verne and Sam and two daughters, Sharon Rubash and Linda Crissman, all of Wickenburg; two brothers, Robert and James of Pennsylvania and three grandchildren.
Visitation was at the Wickenburg Funeral Home on May 20. Funeral services were Monday at 10 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce McQueen conducting the service.
Graveside services were conducted by the Kellis Draper Post of the American Legion with burial in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
