Carl V. Doberck, IV, 45, of New Bedford died Monday November 3, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Elizabeth H. (Preston) Doberck of Marion and the late Carl V. Doberck, Jr., he lived in Fairhaven for most of his life.

Mr. Doberck was formerly employed as a construction worker.

He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School.

Survivors include his mother; 2 daughters, Clarice Cardoso of New Bedford and Bridget Doberck of Dartmouth; his former wife, Peggy Farland of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Peter Doberck of Rome, New York and William Doberck of Mattapoisett; 3 sisters, Carol Beadle of Alexandria, Virginia, Elizabeth Vermeulen of Patchogue, New York, and Ellen Montella of Acushnet; 3 grandchildren, Dominic Cardoso, Darien Doberck, and Chris DeSouza; and nieces and nephews.

His Committal Service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2003 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
