Jess Al "Dal" Morris, oldest child of Al Morris and Bobbie Edwards Morris. Born at Tascosa, TX. Attended schools in Tascosa, Channing, Dalhart, Canyon, TX and Flagstaff, AZ. Worked on various ranches and in livestock auctions in the area. Worked as a horse shoer for a number of years.

Millitary service: Pvt. U.S. Army Feb 1, 1942 Reception Center, Camp Wolters, TX, Btry. D, 33rd Bn. 8th Tng. Regt. FA RTC Horse Shoer Fort Sill, OK. Medical Discharge April 21, 1942.

Dal married "Dimples" Solomon. Children: Alton Ray Morris (later went by the name Towe), Enid Lyle Morris, Dale Zane Morris. Dal raised the two younger boys - Enid and Dale. Alton went with his mother.
Dal died of a stroke January 15, 1970 in Amarillo, TX.
