Beckie A. Christiansen, of Camano Island, died suddenly Wednesday while visiting in Seattle. She was born August 26, 1922 in Seattle. She was a former member, youth Director and Sunday School teacher of the Advent Christian Church in Seattle. Past President of the West Seattle PTA. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at the Camano Chapel, Camano Island. Mrs. Christiansen was instrumental in the Village Missons coming to Camano Chapel. She also assisted in the writing of the constitution and by-laws for the Camano Chapel. Mrs. Christiansen was a creative writer and had a weekly column, The Courthouse News, in the Stanwood News. She leaves her beloved husband Bob of the family home, two daughters Linda Rose Boyd of Woodinville and Joyce Ann Steffen at Camano Island; two sons Donald Wallace Christiansen, U.S.N, Coos Bay, OR and Steven Robert Christiansen, of San Jose, CA; one sister Marcia Britt of Brinnon, WA; one brother Ed Dorr, Mountlake Terrace; and Nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Camano Chapel, Camano Island with interment in the family plot, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Seattle.
