William Ray King, 65, died July 8, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Hutchinson, to Harvey Lavern and Roberta Irene (Hornbeck) King.

A 1966 graduate of Haven High School, he was a retired machinist from Eaton Corporation. He served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1968.

Survivors include: his significant other, Geraline Elliot of Hutchinson; two sons, Robert King and wife Kayla of Hutchinson and Regan King and wife Celeste of Spalding, Neb.; daughter, Raeanna Caswell of Hutchinson; two brothers, Vern King and wife Marilyn of Hutchinson and Tim King of Hutchinson; sister, Betty McLean of Joplin, Mo.; six grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Montie McFerrin officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Hospice House in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
