Cecil Gary

Gary Harris, 77, of Toledo, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. He was born in Marietta, Ohio on September 25, 1935, to Charles W. and Bertha R. (Rose) Harris and married Renee M. Root. For over 40 years, Gary was a truck driver, retiring in 2000 from B-Way Transportation. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed working with his hands and always willing to help others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Renee; children, Randy (Brenda), Anna-Marie (Vern), Angie (Jason), Annette "Nina" (Joe), Cecil "Bobby" (Renauta) and April (Terry); grandchildren, Joel (Keally), John, Chris, Brandon, Kristie, Seth, Kenny, Raelynn, Cecil, Austin, Terry, and Georgialynn; great-grandson, Griffin and sister, Rowena Sue Elmore, along with many dear nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Roger, Sharon and Patty.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 20, 2013, after 2:00 p.m. at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
