Lynn Alleman, 70, of 1302 Argyle Road, La Salle died at 4:35 p.m. Jan. 2, 2006, in her home following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mueller and Pagani Funeral Home, La Salle. The Rev. Danira Parra of Tonica United Methodist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 9, 1935, in La Salle to Robert and Charlette (Wolff) Siemers. She married Robert V. Barnum on Nov. 21, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was a partner with Liesse-Barnum Insurance, which later became River Valley Insurance.
She was a member of County Line Lutheran Church and Illinois Valley Art League, and was a two-term past president of Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors are her husband, Robert Barnum of La Salle; her mother, Charlette Siemers of rural Peru; one daughter, Kathryn (William) Wilson of Las Vegas; three sons, Charles (Rita) Alleman of Tonica, Thomas (Edie) Alleman of Tonica and David (Cheryl) Alleman of Utica; three stepdaughters, Robin Barnum of Sherman, Texas, Fawn Over of West Chicago and Heather Barnum of La Grange Park; one stepson, Scott Barnum of Dallas, Texas; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Robert Charles (Paula) Siemers of Delavan, Wis.; two sisters, Betty Kay (Phillip) Kardasz of Hinsdale and Susan V. Siemers of Walkerton, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
