Mrs. Van Allen is survived by her husband and four [sic] children, Mrs. Charles Lont, Mrs. Edward Brown, William Van Allen, of Los Angeles, Cal.
The deceased was born in Lasselsville, and had been a well known resident of Gloversville tor the last thirty-five years. She was a member of the Universalist church.
The funeral services which were private to relatives, were held from the house Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. U. S. Milburn, pastor of the First Universal[ist] church, officiated. Burial in Prospect Hill.
