S Elizabeth was born on January 9, 1888, to Mr and Mrs. William Coulson and came to the US at age 13 to live with her aunt, Martha Coulson.
On December 24, 1908 she married Nels H Eckman at Erwin, SD. They were parents to John Eckman, Alyce Barck, Bessie DeVries, Gladys Olson, Edna Wittrock, and Eleanor Bently. Nels died August 7, 1947.
She married John Larsen of Lake Preston in June of 1963 who had two adult sons, Lyal and Morris.
She was also survived by 22 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild at her death.
