Peter A. Corley, 75, of Boswell, died Oct. 17, 1962, in Somerset Community Hospital.

He was born March 8, 1887, in Bedford County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob [John] Corley. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth Shippey, Nov. 28, 1954, and these brothers and sisters: William, Henry, Jacob, Sarah and Cynia. He is survived by these children: Walter A. and Harry L., both of New York City; Glenn E., at home, and Genevieve, wife of C. Dwight Barron, Jr., Boswell; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, John, Hyndman; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brant, Greensburg; Mrs. Etta Horn, Manns Choice, and Mrs. Annie May, Buffalo Mills.

A resident of Boswell for 52 years, he was a retired coal miner. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Boswell; local 6364, UMWA, Jenners, and Jenners Rod and Gun Club.
