CPT was a retired self-employed carpenter in his 87th year. Died early this morning in the town of Preston after a long illness. He married Edith Langley and they lived at 16 Mountain Ave for about 20 years. He had retired in 1952 and was a member of the Methodist Church. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters; Mrs. Warren E. Allen of Marblehead, MA and Mrs. Henry Ciambelli of Charlestown, MA plus 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The service was conducted at 2 PM Thursday at Alderson-Prentis Funeral Home and interment was at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
