John Paul Braddy was a long time resident of Montgomery, Al. His life spanned diverse careers. He was a Korean War combat pilot and retired after serving 21 years as an Air Force Officer. During his military career, he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with 4 Bronze Clusters and numerous other medals. He was a member of the Order of D'dalians and the 13th Bomb Squadron Association (The Devil's Own Grim Reapers). Mr. Braddy then spent 25 years with the State of Alabama which included services of Associate Commissioner of the Prison System and Personnel Director of the ABC Board. For the past 27 years, Mr. and Mrs. Braddy have been active in Hot Air Ballooning and traveling the 49 Continental States in their RV.
