My dear precious mother, died the second day of October 1909. She was nearly 86 years old. Oh, it was sad to give up dear mother, but we can not weep as those who have no hope, for our loss is her eternal gain. She has lain her arm or by and is sweetly sleeping by the side of our dear father in Clairette grave yard.
She had been a member of the Primitive Baptist church about 50 years. Sleep on, dear mother, and take thy rest. We know you are sweetly resting with dear Jesus and His holy angels, far above this old
sin-curse dearth. Dear Brethren, pray forus.
