Memorial Service: 11:00 Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada, MN.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.
Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery.
Faye Marie was born May 18, 1937 to Sanders and Myrtle (Frederick) Peterson in Stephen, MN. She attended school there and graduated from Stephen High School. On November 25, 1978, Faye was united to John Troutman in Junction City, KS.
Faye enjoyed baking for her grandchildren and she always had their favorite cookies or cake on hand. Her specialty was zucchini bread that she made for Nick. She spent many hours working on arts and crafts. Watching The Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, Wheel of Fortune and Ghost stories on TV was something she enjoyed. She collected piggy banks and her husband would surprise her with a new one often. She cherished time with her grandkids talking, playing, and spoiling her new baby granddaughter. Faye was a source of strength for Nick. She helped him through the dark days and they remained best friends. Faye will be remembered by many for her beautiful smile.
Faye, is survived by one son, Nick and Kelly Troutman, Ada, MN five grandchildren, Liz Davidson, Greg, Jaden, Chase, and Bree Troutman of Ada, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John in 2011, four sisters, Darlene Volker, Gloria Steffen, Shirley Christianson, and Cleone Pack, and one brother, Dwaine Peterson.
