The wife of the deceased was formerly Miss Hallie Atkinson of McKinney, who was the daughter of the late A. J. Atkinson and wife an d a sister of the late Jesse Atkinson. He was a life-long member of the Methodist church and a prominent Odd Fellow by which order his body was laid to rest in the Crowell Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
