Donna Maechtle, age 74 years, of Port Washington, Died Monday, July 8, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 28, 1938 in Oconto, WI, daughter of the late Francis and Laverne Livingston Carriveau. Donna was a 1956 graduate of Grafton High School. On September 1, 1956, she married Lester Maechtle at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington.
Donna was a bus driver for Johnson Bus Company in Port Washington. She attended Open Door Bible Church in Port Washington and enjoyed gardening, animals, music, and the children on her bus route.
Survivors include her husband Lester, three sons Shad "Cheyenne" (Emily) of Austin, TX, Shawn (Jacqueline) of Milwaukee and Scott (fiancé Lorie) of Belgium, her sister Barbara (Harvey) Zacher of Grafton and her brother Lon (Jane) Carriveau of Grafton, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Saturday, July 13, 11 AM at Open Door Bible Church, 3420 County Hwy. LL, Port Washington. Interment Union Cemetery. In state at the CHURCH Saturday from 9 -11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Open Door Bible Church or charity of choice appreciated.
