Betty Mae Conner, 80, passed away April 18, 2013 in Orlando, FL. Betty was born July 5, 1932 in Montgomery County, Georgia to Charlie and Lona Mae (Rowland) Richardson. Betty retired from Lockheed Martin and worked with Rockwell as one of the first woman to work on the Space Shuttle Program. Betty enjoyed cooking, canning, quilting and spending time with family. She is survived by son, Curtis Randall Conner of lake Panasoffkee; daughters, Debra Dolezar of Orlando, FL, Cathryn Buchanan of Umatilla, FL, and Tracy Conner Harris (Jerry) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Kelly Dolezar Haddock (Jimmy) of St. Cloud, FL, Jessica Raichl (Mike) of Maryville, TN, Justin Pollock also of Umatilla, FL, Randi Parker (Billy) of Ormond Beach, FL, Natalie Harris of Orlando, FL and Connor Harris of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren, Clay, Karsyn, Ryder, Logan, Colby, Drew, Rylan, and Charlie; sister, Marsha Johnson of Orlando, FL and two brothers, Raymond Richardson of Gainesville, GA and Lonnie Richardson (Kathy) of Orlando, FL; caregiver, Dominique Barnes of Orlando, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Curtis Conner and grandson, Clay Dolezar.
