Rosillah Riedell was born to parents James Riedell and Polly Gleason. Polly Gleason's brother, Rev. Henry Gleason, was the minister of the Congregational Church in Durham from 1832 until his death in 1838. Rev. Gleason is buried beside Henry and Rosillah Tucker in the Durham Cemetery. Henry Gleason was married to Cynthia Vandervoort. Rosillah and Henry named one of their daughters Cynthia, and they named their oldest son Henry Vandervoort Tucker. Rosillah died in New York while visiting her daughter Cynthia and Cynthia's husband Caesar Bannihr.
