William Thomas Van Winkle, 69, of Sparta, passed away July 12, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Van Winkle was born June 11, 1944, in Crossville, to Henry Franklin and Vesty Bolin Van Winkle.
He retired from Crossville Rubber Plant after 30 years.
Mr. Van Winkle was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Van Winkle; brothers, Arlin Van Winkle, Lester Van Winkle, Creed Bolin; and sisters, Dolly Pippin, Mildred Thompson, Hassie Thompson, Pauline Beaty, Martha Beaty, Alma Downs.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., July 15, 2013, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Old Bon Air Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., July 14, at the funeral home. Joe Campbell will officiate.
Danny Davis, Russel White, Daniel Boles, Cloyd Lewis, Jamie Brooks, Clifford Loshbough will serve as pallbearers.
