FUNERAL OF MISS NEWELL

Services Will Be Held Thursday Afternoon at Grace Church


The body of Miss Anna Gray Newell, former Carthage resident who died yesterday morning at Florence, AZ., will reach here early Thursday morning, accompanied by a sister, Mrs. W. P. Chappell of Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Grace Episcopal church with the Rev Ernest J. Mason, rector, in charge.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
Miss Newell, a deaconess of St. Margaret's school for girls at Berkeley, CA., became suddenly ill a Coolidge, AZ., where she and her sister, Miss Margretta Newell, of Albuquerque, New Mexico were spending the holidays.
Mrs. Emily Newell Blair and Mrs. Ella Putnam, both of Washington, DC and sisters of Miss Newell, are expected to reach here tomorrow night and the brother, J. P. Newell, of Tallahassee, FL., secretary to Governor Scholz of Florida, also is expected to reach Carthage tomorrow. AZ death certificate
