Reading - James K Brobst, 68, well known Kirbyville farmer and dairyman died at his home here today of apoplexy, after a stroke suffered four weeks ago. He was in the dairy business
for 25 years. He leaves a widow and a large family.

The funeral of James Brobst of near here was largely attended. The body reposed in a chestnut casket with silver handles and a plate in the lid inscribed "Father".
The remains was attired in a gray suit and were covered with a cream colored eiderdown blanket.
Sons of the deceased were bearers.
The tributes were asters, son George and family, carnations, son John and family, and asters, Samuel and family.
Further services were held at Berckers(St Peter's) Church by Rev R S Appel of Hamburg. Funeral director J D Naftzinger of Centerport, had charge.
