Norma married William R. Tilton - later divorced, Don Dana - later divorced, Eldon Harris who preceded her in 1996, and Thomas Wayne Cluff who preceded her in 2001. Norma suffered a stroke at age 49 but she continued to live a full life, love her family and create beautiful works of art for those she loved. Everyone she met was inspired by her strength and love for life. She had faith in her Savior and never gave up. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her children: William (Lori) Tilton, George Dana, Vicky Vargas, Florence Ann Dana and Kristy Wallace; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Alice Grimm and 1 brother, George Barrows. Preceded by her parents, 2 sons: John Aaron Dana and Robert Tilton, 2 sisters: Florence Keeney and Peggy Cargenie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Rivergrove 1st Ward LDS chapel, 780 N. 700 W., Provo, Utah. Family visitation will be 10:15 to 10:45 Wednesday at the church prior to the services. Internment at Orem City Cemetery, Orem, UT.
Special thanks to all those who lovingly cared for our mother for the past 27 years. We want the nurses and staff of Inspiration Hospice to know how much their gentle service meant to us. We also thank special friends who filled Norma's last years with joy and love.
