Octavia "Tavia" was the first child (daughter) of Thomas Harvey Puckett and Sarah Farley Rogers Puckett. Her name was Willie Octavia Puckett, but went by her middle name and the nickname "Tavia."

She married James William Hall on June 1, 1904 in Selma, Alabama.
Tavia & Jimmy (JW) (as they were known)had 3 children:
