She was the daughter of Isaac Edmondson& Nancy Cox. Susie was the 3nd wife of John Mathis 1774-1851 married 25 Aug 1820 in Bulloch Co, GA after the death of his 2nd wife Nancy Edmondson who died in 1820 without children, and she was a sister to Susie. John & Susannah 'Susie' Edmondson had 12 children.
