Caught Between Wagon and a Tree
Mrs. Elizabeth Zeiger, aged 72, of Edon, Ohio instantly killed.

Edon Ohio, Oct. 4 - Mrs. Elizabeth Zeiter, aged 72, was crushed to death at her home here yesterday when she became caught between and wagon and a tree while driving a team of horses owned by her son Rob Zeiter.
The son lives on a farm near here and had brought a load of wood to his mother. Mr. Zeiter had unhitched the horses from the tongue of the wagon and had hitched them on the rear of the wagon in order to get the load closer to the barn where he intended to put the wood. He steered the tongue of the wagon while his mother drove the horses. In some manner Mrs. Zeiter became caught between the wagon and a tree. The left side of her chest was crushed and physicians said she died instantly.
Mrs. Zeiter is well known in this vicinity. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary about a year ago. Since that time her husband died.

Mrs. Elizabeth Zeiger, aged 72, of Edon, Ohio instantly killed.

Edon Ohio, Oct. 4 - Mrs. Elizabeth Zeiter, aged 72, was crushed to death at her home here yesterday when she became caught between and wagon and a tree while driving a team of horses owned by her son Rob Zeiter.
