Michael Jerome Phillips, Sr., 54, Indianapolis, passed away on July 5, 2013. Michael graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and retired from General Motors. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Winston-Phillips; sons, Eric M. Hill-Phillips, Michael J. Phillips, Jr.; daughter, Ashley N. Hill; father, Fred Phillips; step-mother, Sheridan Phillips; sister, Andora Moreland-Boyd; grandson, Leonard Harris, III. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Curry Phillips. Services will be at Noon on Friday, July 12, 2013 in Temple of Praise, 3969 Meadows Dr., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Ellis Mortuary.
