RITTMAN Robert L. "Whitey" Perrin, 76, of Rittman, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at his home.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Wadsworth, with Pastor Rick Fox officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Wadsworth.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born March 11, 1928, in Brownstown, Ind., to Riley and Ruth Ann (Robbins) Perrin and married Ida D'Intino on Aug. 28, 1949. She survives.Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons Patrick (Penny) Perrin and Dennis (Linda) Perrin.His Two step son's he raised at his own , Lee (Judith King) Christine of Barberton,and Danny (Debbie Hawkins) Christine Also , all of Rittman; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.His siblins were Misscariage infant by Ruth.His siblings by Laura Elizabeth Durham are Dan Elbert,James Meredith,Larry Dean "Deano",Jerry Dwayne,Dana Sue,Marvin Matthew,Riley Theodore Perrin Jr,Michael Durham,and Fannie Lou Perrin,a child with Olle Rae Boaders Is Lea Betty Boaders Perrin and unkown mothers fo,Atha,Leahen Perrin.
He had worked for the Packaging Corporation of America for 43 years, retiring in 1991. During that time, he also was a part-time Rittman Police Officer and then worked for Brown Cleaners.
He was a Scoutmaster for Rittman Troop 405 and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
