Alexander Antol, age 92, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of New Albany, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. He is survived by his loving sons, Alex Antol Jr., Charleston, SC, Lewis (Sandra) Antol, New Albany, OH, and Michael Antol, Ft. Lauderdale; grandchildren, Suzette (Mike) Phillips, Kimberly (Marc) Goerges, Kevin (Teresa) Antol, Brian (Tracy) Antol, Jason Antol, Joey Antol; great-grandchildren, Bear, Adam, and Megan Phillips, "His Girls" Amanda, Kelly, Hannah, and Kayla Goerges, Nathan Antol, Zach Hartly and Mathias Antol; sister-in-law, Shirley Spencer; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Alex was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy, parents Alexsander and Mary Antol, sisters Mary Burt, Elizabeth Barlafonte, Mary Rollins, Rose Fanian, Margie Schirtzinger, brother Paul Antol, daughter-in-law Susan Antol, grandson Paul Antol. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church and longtime employee of Jeffrey Manufacturing before retiring. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Father Dan Millisor, Celebrant. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital, Division of Pediatric Neurology, 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205.
