Harold "Leroy" Pace, 59, 528 Mound, died Friday afternoon in Ball Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born in Dunkirk, Mr. Pace had lived in Muncie most of his life and owned and operated several auto repair garages here. He also worked as a mechanic for Polson Auto Sales.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, Harold L. Pace, Converse; two daughters, Mrs. James (Donna) Dodson and Mrs. David (Tonya) Knutson, both of Muncie; a brother, Ralph Pace, Muncie; two sisters, Katherine Blythe, Muncie, and Margaret Broadwater, Dallas, Tex.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandddaughter.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial is in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
