Frank R. Housel, age 81, of 44 West Elmira Street, Mansfield, died Wednesday, March 17 [1976] in the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. He was born August 9, 1894 in Wellsboro, a son of Washington and Bertha Rollins Housel. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William [Dorothy] Haverly of Mansfield; two sons, Arthur of Corning, and Purley Housel of Wellsboro RD4; one brother, Hugh T. Housel of Elmira and six grandchildren. He retired in 1964 from the Corning branch of the Corning Glass Co. A funeral service was held at the Kuhl Funeral Home, Mansfield on Saturday at 1:oo p.m. with the Rev. Kermit Clickner officiating.
