(The Old Eliot, Maine magazine also reported her birth as 1679.) Her parents are William and Elizabeth (Frost) Gowen. William Gowen died Apr. 2, 1686, probably about 50 years of age, and Elizabeth lived probably until after she was 94 years of age.
