Donald E. McMahan, 82, of Anderson, died peacefully on July 9, 2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on June 7, 1931 in Marion, Ohio, the son on Clarence and Lois (Keup) McMahan. He was a 1950 graduate of Anderson High School.

He was employed by General Motors in the Accounting Department for many years. Following his retirement, he delivered flowers for Payless Floral Department in Anderson. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church and served in the US Army.

Survivors include his 2 children: Mark (wife Crystal) McMahan of Decatur, Tenn and Rita (husband Corey) Goers of Laporte, IN. 7 Grandchildren: Matthew, Mary, Corey Ryan, Brandon, Jacob, Sarah Beth, and Mark Jr. 6 great grandchildren, and a brother, Gene McMahan of Anderson, and several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith A. McMahan on February 11, 2012
