On March 28, 1959 in Paxton, IL he married Lois Hubler. Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force, worked for the Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights, IL. for 33 years retiring in 1996, and was a member UAW. After retirement Jerry enjoyed playing golf, traveling in their RV and he and Lois would spend six months a year at their home at Hidden Valley Ranch in Mission, TX., but he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife Lois of Bourbonnais, IL., his sons; Michael McCue of Bradley and Gary (Robin) McCue of Bourbonnais, IL., nine grandchildren; Christopher McCue of Florida, Lindsey McCue of Kankakee, IL., Katrina McCue of Chicago, IL., Kristin (Brandon) Meents of El Paso, TX., Ryan Hickory of Bourbonnais, IL., Adam McCue of Joliet, IL., Andrew McCue of Joliet, IL., Madeline McCue of Buckingham, IL., and Garrett McCue of Bourbonnais, IL. 3 great grandchildren; Faith Hickory, Liam Hickory, and Preston Meents, three brothers; Larry (JoAnn) McCue, Daniel (Jenny) McCue, and Don (Cathy) McCue all of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Donald McCue, parents Leslie and Ruth McCue, three brothers, and three sisters.
A time of gathering will take place on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 11am until the time of service at 1:30pm at Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes Kankakee Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family’s wishes would be appreciated.
