Wanoka "Tommie" Morehead, 79 of Grantsville, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at her home after a short illness.She was born in Calhoun County, on Leading Creek, the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce and Ocie Blaine Goodnight.She was retired from Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary.She is survived by four sons, Steve, Woodrow, Harold and Kevin; five daughters, Kathleen, Brenda, Marlene, Ginger and Debbie.Also surviving is one sister, Blanche Bell; 20 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil "Bill" Morehead and one daughter, Phyllis Groves.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 4 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Harold Newsome will officiate. Interment will be in the Goodnight Cemetery at Big Bend.Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
