George W. Frazier Called by Death; Last Rites Today

Last rites were observed at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the James-Coker-Peters funeral chapel for George W. Frazier, 68, well known Greenville meat market man, who died at 5:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, 1904 Wesley street after an illness of three weeks.

Rev. L. D. Ball, pastor of the First Baptist church conducted the services. Burial was in orest (sic) Park cemetery.

Pallbearers were Grady Mickler, James Thompson, Robert Scott, Jack Moore, Ted Warner, Sr., and Bill Henderson.

Born in Blue Ridge on May 18 (unreadable) 1880, Mr. Frazier was the son of Charles Frazier and Jane Grounds Frazier. Since 1910 he had been a resident of Greenville and had services (sic). Burial was in Forest Park markets (sic) of the city.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ann Russell to whom he was married on September 9, 1900, at Pike, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Roundtree, El Paso; Mrs. Bill Blakemore, Odessa, and Mrs. Miles Lipscomb, Greenville, and two sons, V. G. Frazier, Greenville and G. C. Frazier, McKinney.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, four brothers and five sisters, J ohnarFz sisters (sic), John Frazier, Farmersville; Jess Frazier, Blue Ridge; Henry Frazier, Fort Worth; Reuben Frazier, Leonard; Mrs. Sarah Young, Blue Ridge; Mrs. Martha McClary and Mrs. Harriett McClary, Sulphur Springs; Mrs. Eliza Mangrum, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Lizzie Fagg, Blue Ridge. One son preceded him in death in 1920.
